Epes Carriers to Use SkyBitz to Increase Asset Efficiency and Security for Nearly 2,800 Trailers

Carrier Leader Partners with SkyBitz for Utilization and Security Gains

STERLING, Va., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- SkyBitz??, the leading remote asset tracking and information management service provider, today announced that Epes Carriers, Inc. subsidiaries, Epes Transport System and Texas Star Express, are launching the SkyBitz asset tracking and cargo sensor solution for their fleet of approximately 2,800 trailers. Epes Transport and Texas Star are leading regional and long haul dry van truckload carriers transporting general commodities via their general truckload and dedicated services divisions.

Epes Transport System and Texas Star Express will now be able to drive more efficient asset utilization across their fleets and prepare their operations to better respond to changing economic and market conditions. With the SkyBitz solution, Epes Transport System and Texas Star Express will be positioned to provide improved asset allocation, total load visibility and improved logistics and security to their customers. In addition, Epes Transport System and Texas Star Express will also be able to manage their fleets through the easy-to-use SkyBitz InSight Web application to view assets in real-time and run customizable management and operational reports for each vehicle in the fleet.
